Tara Osborne, DPT, PRC
Tara was born and raised in Idaho, attending the University of Idaho with a B.S.in exercise science. After working with USA baseball, the 2002 winter Olympic Games, and living abroad, Tara decided to pursue her dream of a health care profession and returned to school in Wichita, KS where she started a masters in Exercise Science at Wichita State University and was then accepted and graduated from the doctorate of physical therapy program in 2009.
After graduation, she returned to her home state of Idaho pursuing further credentialing with the Postural Restoration Institute. She is currently only one of four credentialed in this specialty in Idaho, Utah, Montana, Oregon, Wyoming, and Nevada. This revolutionary approach to physical medicine has become her passion, helping patients recognize asymmetries in the body which can lead to pain and dysfunction. This approach allows individuals to use an outcome-based program to focus on the activities they enjoy while using exercises that deter pain. Tara’s philosophy to therapy is to work as a team with her patients to devise a program ensuring full potential of optimal functional return in their area of concern, whether it is walking to the mailbox or returning to optimal level sport.
